Room Reservations

Duke faculty can reserve classrooms and other campus spaces through a few different systems, depending on the type of space needed. For general classroom reservations and many academic spaces, use Duke’s 25Live system. For library study rooms and other library spaces, use the Duke Libraries space finder and reservation tools.

Faculty have three primary pathways for reserving spaces at Duke, depending on the type of room needed:

  • MEMS spaces – Hudson 117 and 143:
For use of Hudson Hall rooms 117 or 143, please contact Amy Spaulding.
Requests should be submitted at least one week in advance
  • Classrooms and many campus spaces (Registrar / 25Live):
Use the Registrar’s system via Reserve a Classroom. Faculty and staff log in with their NetID to access 25Live, Duke’s centralized scheduling platform for classrooms and event spaces across schools and units.
    • Supports reservations for a wide range of instructional and event spaces (e.g., Trinity classrooms, Perkins Library rooms, Fuqua, Sanford, etc.).
    • Requests are subject to unit-specific policies and availability, especially during the academic term.
  • Library study rooms and meeting spaces (Duke Libraries):
Use Find Library Spaces to locate and reserve rooms within Duke Libraries.
    • Includes group study rooms and other library spaces searchable by features, noise level, and location.
    • Reservations are self-service and require a Duke NetID; spaces are intended for academic and collaborative use.
